About me
Michaela Mojzis
“I will help you integrate healthy, highly effective, and purposeful movement into your daily activities to achieve physical and mental balance.”
I believe it is important to take responsibility for our body, listen to it and start thinking more about how we move for a better life now and later in old age.
My goal is to help you:
- Think about how and what you do during the day. You can use your body in a coordinated or uncoordinated way. Uncoordinated movement leads to pain and injury; coordinated movement leads to a pain-free life and freedom of movement.
- Use the CORE muscles (center of the body) correctly, which will bring health and aesthetic benefits in the form of a flat belly.
- Get relief from chronic pain by combining techniques such as self-massage, fascial stretching, and strength and mobility exercises.
- What online programs do I offer?
- (Home) Office Pilates
- Castles and Pilates
My story
My love for movement started in childhood. When I was 15, I gave up on my dream of becoming a professional volleyball player after a serious injury and subsequent knee surgery. Due to inappropriate rehabilitation, I had further movement problems – back and shoulder pain, sprained ankles, and at just 20 my body was falling apart. The sports dream faded and was replaced by a more important goal – to enjoy movement and live without pain.
I learned that I needed to take better care of my body and listen to what it needs. And so began my journey of discovering healthy and purposeful (intentional) movement. Through helping myself, I came to the desire to help others.
Over 12 years, more than 300 clients have gone through my onsite courses.
I am constantly deepening my knowledge in various movement concepts such as Pilates Clinic, Spiraldynamik, and fascial fitness. Smart exercise also helped me recover faster after a natural birth and cesarean section. I like to pass on my experience to other women in the online world.
A few things you probably don’t know about me:
- I am a third generation of personal trainers in our family.
- I used to train with the beach volleyball national team.
- I combine healthy exercise with a healthy mindset, and psyche to help women from a holistic point of view.
- In my free time, I love to play and climb things with my children at the playground.
- I don’t give up until I get things done.
- My faith is very important to me. According to the verse from John 10:10, I desire to live life to the fullest and to encourage others to do the same.
